Throughout the Bible, we read that a ‘Judgment Day’ will eventually arrive when God will judge every person. So this raises the question:
Does this refer to random times in the future when we each will meet our own judgment (as at our deaths), or is it saying that there will be one specific ‘day’ (or period) when everyone will be judged?
Well, notice what Jesus told his Apostles as recorded at Matthew 10:14, 15:
‘Wherever people don’t take you in or listen to your words;
On leaving that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
I tell you the truth;
On the Judgment Day, it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom and GomorRah than for that city.’
So, it seems that God will judge all mankind at some specific time in the future when all the dead will be resurrected, which He calls ‘the Judgment Day.’ We read of this ‘day’ at Revelation 20:13, where we are told:
‘Then the sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up the dead in them, and all [the dead] were judged by the things they had done.’
